It is capable of converting electrical energy into visible solid semiconductor devices, can be directly converted into electricity to light; for LED, it has less power consumption, long service life, low cost, high brightness, low malfunction, large visual angle and visual distance and other characteristics, therefore, unlike LCD, it the application is becoming more widespread, including lighting, large screen display, there are small captions and so on, also have LED figure.
In fact, LCD is a general name, according to the different backlight, it is divided into LED backlight liquid crystal screen and CCFL backlight LCD screen. Vendors are sometimes abbreviated to consumers for abbreviated to LED.
For the difference between CCFL and LED, from the technical structure, the LED backlight is more power saving than the old LCD (CCFL). Although at the price, LED is more expensive than the old LCD, but it is better than the old LCD on color brightness and color saturation. These are where the two are technically different.
